Montenegro Explorer 2-Week Route

The Montenegro Explorer Route is a dedicated 2-week flotilla, enabling us to see more of Montenegro, exploring south beyond Kotor to Bigova and Budva amongst others.

 Day 1 (Saturday) : ACI Marina Dubrovnik

Embark at ACI Marina Dubrovnik. The marina has a restaurant, showers/WC and an excellent supermarket.

Day 2 (Sunday) : Cavtat (13 Nm)

A short shakedown trip today, heading down to Cavtat. Plenty of time to see Dubrovnik old town from the water before mooring for the evening.

Day 3 (Monday) : Zelenica (25 Nm)

We make an early start from Cavtat after checking out of Croatia. Time then to make passage to Montenegro and check-in in Zelenika. Once checked in, it's a short hop to the lovely new marina of Melijne.

Day 4 (Tuesday) : Kotor (14 Nm)

Well protected and hidden in the depths of a fjord-like river estuary, The historic and atmospheric Venetian old town is crowned by the castle of San Giovani offering stunning views of the Fjord.

Day 5 (Wednesday) : Kotor Bay

A day exploring the fjord-like bay of Kotor, ending with a beach party

 Day 6 (Thursday) : Tivat (8 Nm)

Today is another short hop, to the beautiful marina at Porto Montenegro

 Day 7 (Friday) : Free Sailing

Free sail day today, pick your spot within the bays, there is plenty of choice.

Routes may vary due to weather conditions & other factors.

 Day 8 (Saturday) : Bigova (16 Nm)

Time to head out of the bay and head south along the coast to the charming fishing village of Bigova

 Day 9 (Sunday) : Budva (12 Nm)

The settlement of Budva dates back 2,500 years, making it one of the oldest settlements on the Adriatic Sea, with its own walled city.

 Day 10 (Monday): Lustica Bay(13 Nm)

Lustica sits on the north side of this well-protected bay.

 Day 11 (Tuesday): Herceg Novi (12 Nm)

Herceg Novi means "New Town"...which dates from the 15th century! climb the steps for a stunning view and a well-earned cocktail.

 Day 12 (Wednesday): Srebreno (25 Nm)

Time to check out and say goodbye to Montenegro. We sail to Cavtat to check in, before mooring in Srbreno to the north.

 Day 13 (Thursday): Kolocep (16 Nm)

Another chance to give the old town of Dubrovnik a "drive by" and on to the peaceful island of Kolocep

 Day 14 (Friday): Dubrovnik ACI Marina (10 Nm)

It's time to head back up the river and home to the ACI Marina in Komolac, and a final farewell meal together

 Day 15 (Saturday):  ACI Marina Dubrovnik

Disembark at ACI Marina Dubrovnik.
